• The Ohio State University and University of Michigan organ transplant programs are some of the tops in the nation and have both saved my life. Please consider support for organ donation.
• The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) is one organization that works behind the scenes to make transplants possible. Another is the Alliance for Paired Donation, which saves lives by finding matches for otherwise non-compatible donors. They have also pioneered Non-simultaneous Extended Altruistic Donor Chains (NEAD Chains) which allow mutliple pairs of kidney transplants to take place at different times.
